Mooncave :: A Woman's Most Sacred Time

"Mooncave" doesn't even begin to describe where I go during my bleeding time.

I feel like I exist in a parallel reality to the one I call "normal, everyday life".

Everything feels more intense. My emotions. Sounds. All sensations.

Nothing matters and everything can wait.

And yet the downloads pour through, the visions are strong, and my dreams are intense.

◇ It's as if I'm witnessing, feeling, tasting, BEing the depth of my power, my magic, and my potential as an infinite soul in a human body.

I come to know myself deeper.

I get the chance to love myself harder.

I'm given the gift of showing myself true self-care.

I know how to be with myself, how to listen to my womb, decipher the messages in the pain, read my blood.

◇ It's taken time, and a whole lot of self-love and forgiveness.

My partner and I used to fight every single month around my moontime. When my emotions were high and my linear, rational thinking was non-existent. He'd point things out about the way I was acting, and I just felt like a jaguar wanting to destroy, yet be held and accepted in my destruction. I'd make a mess and just wanted him to love me as I was.

I've dug down into the roots.

Every cycle, inquiring deeper.

Connecting with my inner wounds.

Healing old patterns that kept me defensive, in lack, working too hard in a masculine way.

I've looked at it all. Enough to know there's always more to see. Blindspots to discover. Imprints to uncover.

◇ Along the path what I HAVE found is freedom.
◇ What I HAVE found are my gifts.
◇ What I HAVE found is the courage, the drive and the motivation to share what's within me....and love myself through the moments where I just want to give it all up.

🔻 What I've also found, is that the wisdom is all within me. In my womb. In my cycle. In my blood.

And it is in yours too.
